I decided to take on this challenge. I did some secondary research exploring other websites that enable crypto payment (e.g., Overstock) and the checkout process involved.

I decided to take on this challenge. I did some secondary research exploring other websites that enable crypto payment (e.g., Overstock) and the checkout process involved.


I got some ideas from my research and I started working on the low fidelity design.

Design a pricing plan page and a checkout flow that accepts credit cards and crypto payment such that the design guides the user to achieve their goal.

Design a pricing plan page and a checkout flow that accepts credit cards and crypto payment such that the design guides the user to achieve their goal.

Here is Bitcoin checkout with an extra screen to prompt users to send Bitcoin either by scanning the QR Code or copying the address.

This is an extra step and might bug Users:


1. I decided to use a Phase starting with a Verb (Send 0.001951 BTC) prompting them to act with the amount of Bitcoin they would send. 
2. I ensured them that the process was tracked by a Fitbit tracker to build trust in it.

I separated Bitcoin from another cryptocurrency because it is the most used asset and would enable holders of BTC have quick access to checkout.

Here it's a 4 step process for checkout.


1. After choosing plan

2. Select Pay with card and input card details.

i. User have the ability to save card

ii. I also tried to build trust, telling them that their information is saved and secured.

3. Plan Summary to confirm payment and other necessary charges to prove transparency

4. Checkout is done and User have a congratulatory screen with the details of the transaction (Transaction ID is added for cases where they might some bugs or internal issues)
